Deandre Ayton has done just about everything the Suns could have asked of him during his first year in Phoenix.

The 2018 No. 1 overall pick is averaging a double-double with 16.4 points and 10.4 rebounds while blocking nearly a shot a game. But the young Suns are struggling to win as they sport an 11-45 record, which is one of the worst in the league.

Ayton's success hasn't translated into wins for the team yet, but he is learning how to win with his teammates in his inaugural season in the NBA.

"We're going to have to sit down and learn how to keep each other accountable," Ayton told Omnisport on Thursday, "we're going to have to fight against each other to really figure out what type of (people) we are, the type of person you want to be next to on the battlefield, that's how great teams succeed, everybody is always accountable and everybody knows their job."
